THE SALTY TYGER COLLECTIVE

We're not built like a traditional agency. There is no conveyor belt of junior teams, layers of account management and a big reveal at the end. The senior people who shape the thinking stay close to the work from start to finish. Our core team brings decades of experience. Around them, we assemble trusted specialists and collaborators according to what the challenge actually requires. Our collective of professionals are selected for their groundbreaking work in marketing and branding across the globe. We've won awards internationally, we sit on councils and boards and we bring fresh perspective from our gathered experience. Our agency model allows for your team to collaborate with ours, in any capacity that you require.

Jeanie de Beer

Founding Creative Director & Brand Strategist

Jeanie is an award winning Brand Strategist and Creative Director with over twenty years of experience leading bold, experiential creative work for brands across the globe. Her practice is rooted in the belief that ideas hold their greatest power when they connect deeply, speak across cultures, and leave a lasting trace — whether through one-to-one collaborations or international, exhibition-scale projects.

more

Across each chapter of her career — from founding her first agency in Canada to leading global brand strategy programmes today — her approach has remained consistent: listen deeply, create fearlessly, and deliver work that resonates beyond the brief. Her work is rooted in strategy, because creativity finds its greatest power when it deeply understands the problem.

As a leader, Jeanie is empathetic, collaborative, and supportive — a teacher and encourager who believes creativity flourishes in trust. She has founded two agencies, led award-winning teams, and pioneered remote creative collaboration since 2011 — long before it became the norm. Her clients have spanned NGOs, commercial brands, and emerging markets across four continents.
